Check any “Options,” “Settings” or “Account” sections, and if you still can't find the IMAP server address, do a search in the provider's Help section. Locate your Web-based email provider's IMAP server address, which usually looks something like “.” Each provider displays this information in different locations, so you may need to do some searching. Open your provider's “Options” or “Settings” page and look for options that specify "IMAP," "forwarding" or "mail servers." For example, to enable IMAP in Gmail, go to "Settings," select the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab, scroll down to the IMAP Access section and select “Enable IMAP." Saving these settings will remove the use of SSL from the iOS account and should also remove the verification error.Ensure IMAP is enabled on your Web-based email account, as some providers do not automatically enable IMAP access.
